Craze looking: how to find style developments? What’s a trend? | Justine Leconte

Today’s online video is a little bit late, sorry!
It is the starting of a new sequence on my channel, about trend scouting / trend looking in style.
1. What’s a trend? What are the unique styles of developments? (macro-developments, eat developments, micro-developments & fads).
2. How to do trend function, what to glance at, how to doc your procedure and edit your results.
three. Exactly where to glance for developments.
These will be the three first episodes. For the following types, publish me your thoughts in the opinions!

Give this online video your two thumbs up… and subscribe to this channel since:
– it is free!
– you do not overlook any long run online video!

I love your T-shirt. Where is it from?

Great content and great way to present it.
I have a question. Some trends don't seem to solve any problems: distressed or baggy jeans, for instance. Both are of controversial esthetics (subjective opinion) and rather problem-generating than problem-solving (objective observation): feet are easily caught in the holes of distressed jeans when you put them on (and your knees get cold) and very baggy jeans make it difficult to run (you look at least goofy – if not worse – when you try to catch a bus). So, where do these trends and many not-so-practical others come from and why do they stay so long on the racks?

I totally love the idea to make this topic a series! – However I feel I have to disagree with just one thing, namely the notion of green lifestyle being "only" a consumer trend. It's outgrown this status already, key word here is for example green economy. Other than that, can't wait to see more, I really like your channel <3

A brilliant new video, Justine! Thank you very much for educating us on such an interesting topic that would be of much use in everyday life. Especially what you mentioned at the end of the video! It is great to know and evaluate whether something is going to last or it is just a fad or a micro trend and whether it is worth investing in. Could you please include in some of these series what trends we currently see are going to last and which ones you believe are just micro trends? Thank you and much love from London xx
