Is not about the size, is the whole appearance; this fashion largely based on how little girls dressed in that era; knee-high skirts, big bows on the hair and no high heels. You mention the kawai look, now, being cute is fine, but once you put them all together in a puffed dress trying to look like a doll – &particulary in the case of the sweet lolita and fairy kei- is why we think is infantile; that cuteness that they aim to is a childlike one. There's is a reason for the saying "Dress for you age" pink, lace, ribbons, glitter, etc. at any age, however, the design is different between a child and an adult, one is girly and other feminine, even clothes for a teenager differs from a little girl.

You look great. I just subscribed. I hope I can learn more about your fashion. But, to be honest, at first, I thought you are a younger girl. The reasons: bangs, super long hair, very tiny figure more than western women, smaller breast area, the collar is something you normally see on dolls or younger girls clothing rather than women's clothes, the fluffy shoulder…maybe it is the lace too…so you are right. This style is not typically something seen on older western women and also most older western women don't wear bows in the hair much…though, it was in fashion long ago. So bows, lacey, super conservative neckline, bangs, very small and tiny figure and discreet makeup at first gave me the impression you are a young girl. So maybe this is what people are picking up on? However, you are correct in that what you wear is a particular style. I enjoyed your conversation and like your style.

Most kids now days are more fashionable than adult, and some kids dress like they are 21 already.

The ones who say you dress like a child understand nothing of fashion. Don't pay attention to those peasants!

Dress in styles that make you happy! Who cares what others think. You're very cute and you're not hurting anybody! My daughter is 28 and she loves Lolita styles still!

btw I love lolita fashion, to me it is more victorian than childlike. A lot of it is very wellmade/tailored.

Instead of being mad at adults for dressing cute be mad at designers making skimpy clothes for minors.

I have no idea why this was in my recommended videos, but I feel compelled to comment. I think the issue here is the word “Lolita” being utilized in this fashion trend. Lolita is a book that was written about a man in love with a child. So I think some people have trouble separating the two and just assume this fashion is meant to make you look like a child. ??‍♀️ At any rate, I think your dress is cute, wear what you want.

I love your fashion/style on you, it looks very bright and fun, a lot of westerners actually like this type of fashion, just people on here just want to be assholes. Be you and do you fashion is fashion and everyone should be able to wear any type of fashion no matter where you are from.

It shouldn't be this way at all, we should all be free to wear whatever we want, and I'll say this again, and I have said this before.

"If ya ain't got haters ya ain't poppin." honey you killin the game ???

I think the biggest problem with Americans in this debate is they don't want cute. They want sexy. It's built into our advertisements and our marketing at an early age. Cute to Americans is a puppy tumbling over itself or a kitten yawning. Men, from what I have experienced, think women should leave cute behind after 18 and become more sexy. This is also why we see so many young girls taking those awful forced selfies with the attempt on looking sexy. It's sad, because I myself prefer the more elegant clothing. It's comfortable to me, and it makes me feel unstoppable.

I’m so sorry that you of all people have your share of haters. Your an incredible dress designer and although I’m only watching your channel because I am charmed by your open personality and cute style, it is far from childish.
You should simply try not to worry and ignore these “childish” comments. You have many here who support you and will always do that.
Your designs are opening hearts and I for one think you are a very beautiful woman that simply has brilliant clothing sense ?

Lolita dress filled with frills and laces are part of the Victorian era and is a classical way of dressing up. Anything classical will never go out of style
