Thanks so much for the promise of spring reminder! I think I can see your snow melt in droplets falling behind you? Wonder if that encouraged your video subject? Curious about what shape of heel in shoe do you forecast? Love the high waist pants/skirts, feminine details in ruffle and pattern, modern lavender and pastels. Those shades always make me happy as they remind me of Easter candy. I can almost "taste" spring now-sugar rush! ; ) Thanks Erin!

I have amazing design ideas that could possibly change the entire industry. The problem is I don't have any exposure nor do I have the resources to do so ☹️

Your video's are so well done I love watching them.  You are so super cute and polished without being stiff.  Interesting trend updates.

Really here for the lavender trend…makes the green in my eyes pop so I am happy we are probably getting a ton of lavender options this spring.  If I am short waisted can I pull off the super high rise trend or should I stick to mid-to-regular high rise?

Thanks Erin! I discovered you about a year ago and you’ve really helped me turn my wardrobe around. Understanding the need for good basics has been life changing! I never have a problem getting dressed now.

I think it’s so interesting how the trends that were popular when I was a teenager and early 20s are coming back into style, and I have to figure out how to wear them in a different body shape. LOL! I still have sewing patterns with these styles of billowing sleeves and high rise pants. Thank you for reminding us that if a trend doesn’t suit us, to stick with what basics look best. I love that about your advice – here’s the trends, do with it what you want. ???

Banana republic has a lot of affordable options and all of these trends! The factory store is even more affordable. I think your viewers could find a lot there. The factory store even had a pink suede moto jacket like one you had from a previous video and it’s marked down now.

Erin, I've been getting more and more interested in capsule wardrobes. What are your thoughts on that lifestyle choice? I would not be as rigid most but I would love to have, for example, 45 quality pieces that all work well with each other. Anyway would love your thoughts on capsule collections. 🙂

I am so ready for Spring…thanks for sharing these top trends.  I love color and can't wait to infuse more into my wardrobe.  I'm also happy I can pull out my Burberry peplum trench from a few years ago…not that trench coats ever go out of style.  Thanks again Erin and have a terrific weekend!

Cold shoulder and off the shoulder tops? Keep buying, keep wearing what I have but don't buy anymore or stop wearing all together? I feel like I am still seeing them everywhere but don't know if I should keep buying new ones…. Thank you!!! 🙂

I love all these new trends, and will most likely give them all a go except the short shorts! I like a longer short at my age, but I think I could still pair them with a blazer. One other trend I noticed on the runway for spring is belts that are really jewelry! Almost like a necklace around the waist. I have been known to put a necklace or long pearls around my waist and fasten it with a broach of some kind.
     Thanks, Erin XOXOXOX

Glad I’m a hoarder. I’ll pull out that lavender crew sweater. Not so sure about my short suits with shoulder pads from the early 90s lolol! I had 2 really cute ones I use to wear after I graduated college.

Big sleeves at wrists still in? Are bootcut or more open bottom jeans coming back more now? It seems like I’ve seen more flare but what about bootcut or straight? I know skinny is what everyone seems to have now. Also, what’s the best way to cover up dresses? I don’t seem to find the shorter cardigans anywhere now, what would be a good option for a cover up? Thank you!! This is helpful for highlighting wardrobe pieces I can wear this season!

Lilac suits my cool skin tone very well so happy to hear this. On a different note, would you be open to make a future video about leather jackets fit and shapes. The biker look looks boxy on my petite frame. Very rarely do they flatter me. I did find one at Club Monaco (Gracella I think and the price tag to follow lol) which is shorter so doesn't make me look boxy but the arms are too long and would need hemming. How do you hem arms with zippers, can you do it from the top? What the shoes are there around? I can't be the only one who can't wear boxer?!
